My story leading to Standout
In 2018, I started making charcuterie boards. Not for business, but as therapy after a rough patch. The grain, the weight of the wood, the focus it demanded, it all gave me back a sense of calm I’d been missing.
One board turned into many. Soon I was building furniture, oversized pieces that barely fit in my tiny workshop, but filled me with purpose.
By 2022, I was hauling those pieces to markets across Ireland. Early mornings, muddy fields, sideways rain. Some weekends I sold out. Others, I sold nothing but stood there anyway, learning resilience the hard way. Over time, it became more than a job, it became my life.
Why Standout Products Began
My furniture was solid, but my stall? Not so much. Wobbly tables, handwritten signs, a setup that whispered “hobby” when I needed it to shout “business.” It didn’t match the care I put into the things I built. And people noticed, or worse, they didn’t.
So I fixed it. I built my own signs and displays. Suddenly, people stopped, looked, asked questions, bought. Other traders saw it too and started asking if I could make them something. That’s how it began. Not as a plan, but as survival, a way to give my work the stage it deserved.
Here’s the bigger thing though. Most small businesses don’t get a fair shot. If you’ve only got a small budget, good luck getting help from a marketing agency or a print shop. Unless you’re ordering by the hundreds, they won’t even talk to you. And that’s wrong. Because small businesses, the ones running on passion, grit, and stubborn hope, deserve to be seen.
That’s why I make Standout products. To level the field. To give small businesses the same chance to shine as the big ones. To help people like us make a living doing what we love, and to feel proud while we’re at it.

Made in Ireland
As a small business owner, you already know the difference between something made with care and something from Temu that falls apart after the first breeze. That’s why you back local makers like yourself. Every piece here is built in Dublin, by hand, with no outsourcing and no dropshipping, just solid work you can trust.

Built for Market Life
You’ve done the cold mornings, the 6 am Tetris van-pack, the long days smiling through chattering teeth. Your gear should last longer than your coffee.

More Than Pretty
Pretty stalls get compliments. Smart stalls get sales. And sales mean you get to keep creating instead of questioning your life choices at 4 pm in the rain.
